Nestled cozily four hundred meters above sea level on the terraced slopes of one of Dominica's most majestic mountains, Morne Anglais (English Mountain), Exotica's eight cottages constructed out of a wonderful blend of treated wood and local stone, capture many of the finest features of traditional Caribbean architecture. This slice of history is 'sautéed' with the modern conveniences of a complete, self contained vacation cottage.

Guests may prepare their own meals or enjoy catered culinary treats, all made with fresh produce grown organically on Exotica's own farm and on other small farms nearby. Guests are invited to keep their heart rate up by participating in Exotica's "AGROAEROBICS" sessions that allow you to share in the joys of organic farming.

In addition to all the other natural wonders of Dominica which our quests are encouraged to experience, Exotica offers you a chance to follow in the footsteps of generations of earlier Dominicans by retracing old hunting trails through hundreds of acres of pristine rain forest surrounding the property. The trails accommodate the casual hiker as well as those seeking a more strenuous experience (guides are provided by Exotica).

River bathing in cool mountain streams within fifteen minutes walk of your cottage, is particularly refreshing in the early afternoons or when returning from your forest walks.

Whale watching, snorkeling and diving can be easily arranged with Dive Dominica.

Wooden cottages located in the mountains (about 1200 ft) on the terraced slope of Morne Anglais (English Mountain). All cottages are built out of blend of treated wood and local stone and are self contained with a furnished kitchen, a patio and 2 double beds. Guests may prepare their own meals or enjoy catered culinary treats from Exotica cafe, Sugar Apple Cafe. All foods are organically grown on their own farm.
Restaurant: "Sugar Apple Cafe". No Pool. River bathing 15 minute walk.. Other activities: diving & whale watching
