The Palm Island Beach Club Resort( newly renovated ) is staffed by the friendliest people in the Grenadines. The intimate island resort's 40 rooms are just a coconut's throw from the extraordinarily clear and colorful Caribbean's waters. This private island is only 130 acres, surrounded by white sand beaches & located near Union Island. Large air-conditioned rooms have king size beds or 2 twins and have private patios. No T.V. or phones to interrupt your pleasant stay. Gourmet meals are served in an open-air dining room and refreshing drinks await you at the Sunset Bar or by the pool.
Barbados & Martinique are the major gateways to Palm Island w/connecting flights from Martinique, St. Lucia & St. Vincent to Union Island. Here, you will be met by the island Captain for a 20 minute boat ride to the island. Scuba diving can be arranged with Grenadines Dive.

* Children under the age of 16 are permitted during the summer season only. Children rates are the same as adults.

ACCOMMODATIONS

8 Palm View Rooms



(Approximately 450 sq.ft.) These spacious rooms are housed in two separate buildings set slightly back in the gardens. They all feature a sitting area and private furnished terrace looking out towards the swimming pool or the beach. Features include a king-size bed (4 have canopy beds) and a large bathroom with a deep-soaking tub and separate shower. Pull-out beds are also available.

20 Beachfront Cottages



(Approximately 320 sq.ft.) These 20 cottages are housed in ten separate buildings right on the beachfront. All boast furnished private terraces with views of the Caribbean Sea and nearby Union Island. Features include king-size beds, small sitting areas and bathrooms with showers only (no tubs).

 4 Plantation Suites



(Approximately 560 sq.ft.) These four Plantation Suites are housed in a two-story building set slightly back in the gardens - two upstairs and two downstairs. Features include two queen-size sleigh beds, a separate sitting area, a bathroom with a double shower (no bath tub) and a covered furnished terrace or balcony with views of the ocean and gardens. Ideal for families, they can each accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

5 Island Lofts



(Approximately 514 sq.ft.) Three of the stilted island lofts are individual wooden cottages set slightly back in the gardens. They have two queen-size beds, sitting areas, deep-soaking tubs, separate showers, private terraces and ocean views. Two are housed in a shared wooden building right on the beach and feature king-size beds, deep-soaking tubs, separate showers, private terraces and views over the ocean towards the Tobago Cays.
 
 
 

DIVING / Grenadines Dive
NAUI, PADI, CMAS
Location / dive shop: across island in Union Island. PU: boat at Palm Island.
Boats: 3 to take up to 12 divers per boat. No decompression dives.
Encourage diving w / computers (multi level).
Boat leaves at 10AM / returns around 1PM
Diving: 1 tank $75 - 2 tank $115 – 3 days of 2 tank boat dives $339 - 5 days of 2 tank boat dives $552 -
       Night dive: $75 w / min 4 divers
Resort course: $75 / 4 hrs. (after which you can add to any dive package.)
Referral course: add $50 for the 4 required dives to any dive package. (not incl.: PIC envelope)
Full certification: $435 w/5 or 6 hrs study / day and 5 dives (incl. all equipment. )
About 30 sites / 30 mn away (very rarely any current)
Pick-up gear on first day, then gear can stay at dive shop, for cleaning and storage.
No shore diving

Not incl: Marine Park fees of $4 per diver when diving in Tobago Cays (pay there).
